Before our Ula food orgy, we jetted for R&R. Bodrum is the Hamptons of Turkey with the Mediterrannan as its lure. Yeah, it's way more expensive than Istanbul (like I said, Hamptons) but it was gloriously relaxing!
Our resting place: "your rich uncle's villa." It was perfectly stunning. Overlooking the blue sea, the pool area was peaceful and stunning.
The six-room villa is owned and operated by Patrick Hembrough and his taste is impeccable. Every decorative element was gorgeous and we were looked after like royalty.
We spent a day at Ephesus. Often compared to Pompeii, the scale of it was spectacular, especially the huge theatre. We were afraid that driving there and back for five hours might break the bank (with gas prices at $8.50/gallon), but our car and driver worked out perfectly.

Writing friends via e-mail was such a bitch! You try typing on this keyboard! Not only is it totally jumbled, but there are two types of i's and u's. Damn those Qwerty-phobic Turks!
Robynne drinking her usual .. always seemingly tea-drunk. Lush!
